The Fortnite Flare Gun is Back for One Week Only!

Funny enough, your opponents will be the ones calling for help if you're holding this.

For one week only, the Flare Gun in has been unvaulted in Fortnite competitive games. This is exciting news for all players, as this gun comes with not only fire and mayhem, but an extremely helpful advantage over your opponents!

Fortnite Wild Week 1 focuses on a specific gameplay dynamic that they've titled Fighting Fire with Fire. Naturally, this gameplay mechanic centers around using flame weapons and setting structures and opponents on fire through any means necessary. The Flare Gun has popped back into the Fortnite universe as one method of setting your enemies ablaze.

Not only can you set your opponents on fire, but you can use the Flare Gun to mark your opponent's locations. The ammo explodes after it has been fired and scans a large area around it for any opponents and wildlife to reveal their locations. This can be a massive advantage towards the end of a match where all players are in close quarters combat. For the next week, you can expect to see the Flare Gun show up toward the end of almost every match you play.

Unfortunately, the Flare Gun only has six ammo that you can't replenish. Once you've used every shot, the gun's usefulness is depleted.

This weapon/tool will be in the game from May 6, 2021 to May 13, 2021 9am EST. If you want to boost your fire-related milestones, now is the perfect time to do it!
