What does Team Heat mean in Fortnite?

In the new Fortnite update, a new mechanic named Team Heat was introduced into the game. This mechanic will keep track of the eliminations and heists and raise your heat to receive buffs. We have prepared a guide to help you learn about heat levels, how to obtain them, and what buffs you will get!

How to raise your Team Heat in Fortnite

To raise your Heat in Fortnite you will need to eliminate opponents and open vaults. You can keep track of the Heat by looking at the flame icons in the top left corner of the screen. Be careful because you will be visible to your enemies when the levels increase on the minimap. You can increase or decrease the levels if you pay 500 gold.

The buffs for all Heat Levels

Below are the buffs you receive from your heat level:

  • Heat Level One
    • Eliminated opponents drop additional bars.
  • Heat Level Two
    • Increases movement speed by 15%, and regenerates up to 100 health.
  • Heat Level Three
    • Increases movement speed by 20%, and regenerates up to 100 health and 50 shields.
  • Heat Level Four
    • Increases movement speed by 25%, and regenerates up to 100 health and 100 shields.

What is Most Wanted in Fortnite?

The Most Wanted in Fortnite is an event with challenges players can complete to unlock free cosmetics. Cosmetics include pickaxes, outfits, back bling, and other prizes. The cosmetics are free, and they are not likely to appear in the Item Shop in later seasons. The event will end in February, so finish all the challenges and claim your cosmetics as soon as possible!
