Get familiar with Team Heat!

In the new Fortnite update, a new mechanic named Team Heat was introduced into the game. This mechanic will keep track of the eliminations and heists and raise your heat to receive buffs. We have prepared a guide to help you learn about heat levels, how to obtain them, and what buffs you will get!

How to raise your Team Heat in Fortnite

To raise your Heat in Fortnite you will need to eliminate opponents and open vaults. You can keep track of the Heat by looking at the flame icons in the top left corner of the screen. Be careful because you will be visible to your enemies when the levels increase on the minimap. You can increase or decrease the levels if you pay 500 gold.

Below are the buffs you receive from your heat level:

  • Heat Level One
    • Eliminated opponents drop additional bars.
