Wolverine is the next boss coming to Fortnite!

Iron Man made his big debut in the 14.10 patch, bringing along a huge piece of land that plopped over Frenzy Farms. Tony Stark doesn't seem to mess around when it comes to him wanting to have a well-stocked workshop. That was a pretty big change to the map, and we've been expecting additional bosses to follow him. There were only two available in the game, but with the new patch on the way it looks like we're getting a third!

Wolverine Fortnite Boss

According to the official patch notes from Epic, it looks like Wolverine will be occupying Weeping Woods as a boss encounter that you can fight if you are playing in Battle Royale. He is apparently going to be pretty tough to beat:

Confront Weapon X deep in Weeping Woods, take him out, and shred through your opponents with the Wolverine’s Claws mythic power. Like other bosses on the map, he won’t go down without a fight. Let us know what you think!

If you can take him out, you will earn yourself the right to equip Wolverine's Claws which can slice and dice any hapless foe that dares to stand in front of you! We didn't get a whole lot of details about how he's going to be implemented into the game. Normally, you get a new area where the boss will roam that features henchmen. However, when it comes to Wolverine, he's a bit of a lone wolf. It's hard to know if he will be bringing any robots along with him or not. I would tend to doubt it, and almost wonder if he just roams around the Weeping Woods like Bigfoot. You will recall that the first challenge that we completed towards obtaining the Wolverine skin was in Weeping Woods, so it does make sense that he resides there.

It looks like we're hopefully going to be getting a new boss every patch. We might end up seeing Groot, Storm, and She-Hulk eventually, but based on some of the superpowers we've seen, it's also possible that Black Panther and Venom join the party! I guess we're just going to have to wait and see who ends up on the map next.
