Genshin Impact 3.6 will unveil Kaveh & slightly redesigned Baizhu

With only a few days left until the coveted Version 3.5 update, Genshin Impact has released drip marketing announcements for Version 3.6, giving free-to-players some time to mull over their upcoming pulls.

After a wave of waifu-dominant banners, the game is finally giving husbando-lovers a massive treat in the form of two new males to add to their collection. Five-star Baizhu and four-star Kaveh are the Dendro duo expected to heal hearts and break wallets in the coming months.

Baizhu, who runs Bubu Pharmacy, has been one of the game's most long-awaited characters, having met Travelers early into their journey across Liyue. He's a doctor with the noble aim to heal all those afflicted with any ailment—even if he himself is suffering from an incurable disease. Baizhu has always been revered as a mysterious character hiding more than he lets on, and players will finally be able to uncover bits of his story in Version 3.6.

Leakers previously claimed that Baizhu would come with a few design changes, but fans will be happy to know that these have proven to be minimal—barely noticeable to most. A compilation of design changes made by hawk-eyed community members showcases a few minor improvements in Baizhu's illustration:

• More detailed gauntlets
• A reversed triangular bottom hem on his top
• More detailed footwear
• Refined scales on his cape
• Improved embellishments on his pants
• A slight change in the pattern of his pants

Meanwhile, in Sumeru, Alhaitham's prodigal roommate, Kaveh, has packed up and is ready to move into our teapots. Kaveh is known as the Light of Kshahrewar, who practices architecture and engineering with a practical and human heart. Despite being the genius behind the Palace of Alcazarzaray, he's found himself bankrupt, forced to bunk with the straight-laced Alhaitham. Their constant bickering has charmed the hearts of shippers, and players eager to experience more interactions between the two can look forward to Version 3.6.
