Genshin Impact Blazin’ Trails! World Quest walkthrough – Summertime Odyssey Xinyan Mirage Chest & puzzle guide

The Golden Apple Archipelago is back for Genshin Impact's Summertime Odyssey event, which runs from July 15, 2022, to August 24, 2022. Various characters will have personalized Domains (also called Mirage) that you can clear once to loot a ton of Chests and learn more about their lore. To unlock Xinyan's Mirage, you first need to complete the World Quest called Blazin' Trails!

You can find two Chests inside the Mirage segment of this World Quest, while more can be found as you explore the Broken Isle. After completing Blazin' Trails!, you can unlock Xinyan's Mirage and explore it to get 16 more Chests and one Phantasmal Conch.

How to unlock the Blazin' Trails! World Quest in Genshin Impact

To unlock Blazin' Trails!, you first need to complete the following Event Quests:

• The Golden Apple Vacation Returns!
• As the Courtyard in Spring Once Appeared (all three Parts)

Once those are done, you'll automatically get the third World Quest featuring Xinyan's music journey.

How to solve all puzzles in the Blazin' Trails! World Quest in Genshin Impact

Before starting, reference the image above to understand the puzzle mechanics in this Mirage. Melodic Blooms relay the power of the Melodic Harp to dispel trapped melodies. Meanwhile, all Melodic Petals need to be stepped on once to complete a composition.

Go to the brightly lit place

Follow the steps below to complete the Blazin' Trails World Quest.

• Upon entering the Mirage, interact with the drum to summon a moving rock.
• Glide onto the moving rock and let it take you to the next platform.

• Adjust the orientation of the Melodic Bloom circled in the image above once so that it's facing right.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to summon Anemo rings to propel you to the next platform.
• A dialogue sequence will prompt. After that, a Common Chest will spawn—make sure to loot it!
• Glide onto the next platform.

Look for the key

• You need to step on all the Melodic Petals without backtracking. Follow the paths provides above to help you. The last petal on each segment will move or cause other petals to appear.

• Follow the path above to complete the third batch of Melodic Petals. The rest of the petals on the top-right can be ignored, as a cutscene will play as soon as you step on the final petal above.
• After the cutscene, perform with the Melodic Harp without changing the orientation of any of the Melodic Blooms. The Exquisite Chest will unlock for you to claim.

Open the door using the key

Make sure to claim the Exquisite Chest before completing the next steps below.

• On the same platform, adjust the orientation of the Melodic Bloom circled above once so that it's facing forward.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to spawn Anemo rings to propel you to the next platform.
• On the new platform, interact with the door.

Approach the giant flower

• For this segment, simply follow the quest marker and glide to the giant flower on the next platform to prompt a dialogue sequence.

Clear the water veins that flow through the mountains

In this segment, a blue aura will flow around the Broken Isle. Following it will lead you to the water veins that need to be cleared a couple of times throughout the Event Quest.

• Head to the location circled in the image above and use a heavy attack (Geo Damage, Claymore) or Elemental Skill to break the water vein.

• Next, head to the area circled in the image above.
• Adjust the orientation of the Melodic Bloom circled above once so that it's facing left.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to destroy the music note blocking the path forward.
• Once inside, you will find the second water vein, which you need to destroy with a heavy attack or Elemental Skill.

The last water vein is not shown in the image as we completed the puzzle after taking the screenshot, but you can still follow the steps below to complete it.

• Head to the location circled in the image above to find the last water vein.
• Adjust the orientation of Melodic Bloom #1 three times so that it's facing the sealed melody.
• Adjust the orientation of Melodic Bloom #2 once so that it's facing upward.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp.

Obtain Glacial Spring Water

• Follow the quest marker to find the glowing Investigate spot with the Glacial Spring Water. A dialogue sequence will play.
• Head back to Xinyan's island north of the Broken Isle and interact with the drums to enter the Mirage.
• Follow the quest marker to Blazing Heart and interact with it.

From here on, you can continue playing through the Mirage as everything will be guided and consist only of dialogue.

Clear the path of thorns

• Without changing the orientation of any of the Melodic Blooms, perform with the Melodic Harp to clear the path.

After this part, the quest marker will guide you through the rest of the Mirage.

Clear the water veins on the island

After leaving the Mirage, you need to find two more water veins around Broken Isle.

• Head to the area circled in the image above.
• Adjust the position of the Melodic Bloom circled above once so that it's facing left.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to unblock the path forward.

• Now that the entrance is unblocked, go inside and adjust the position of the Melodic Bloom circled above once so that it's facing the sealed melody.
• Go outside and perform with the Melodic Harp.

Once that's done, the aura will be unblocked and will continue to lead you to the water vein.

• Head to the area circled in the image above to find the water vein. Break it with a heavy attack or Elemental Skill.

• Head to the area circled in the image above.
• Adjust the orientation of Melodic Bloom #1 once so that it's facing left.
• Adjust the orientation of Melodic Bloom #2 once so that it's facing forward.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to unblock the blue aura.

• Head to the area circled in the image above.
• Break the second water vein with a heavy attack or Elemental Skill.

Once this segment is done, follow the quest marker to complete dialogue and re-enter the Mirage.

Look for Frozen Soul

• Follow the quest marker through the Mirage until you're at a dead end.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to summon Anemo rings in the sky. Use them to propel you to the next platform.
• You will see a blocked path. Interact with the drums to unblock it.

After this segment, the quest marker will guide you through some more dialogue.

Clear the water veins on the island

You need to clear two more water veins around Broken Isle.

• Head to the area circled in the image above. You can use an Anemo character to activate a clover windwheel at the bottom of the mountain to summon a wind current to propel you upward.
• Break the water vein with a heavy attack or Elemental Skill.

• Head to the area circled in the image above.
• Follow the path to activate the Melodic petals.

• Follow the path above for the next set of Melodic petals.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to unblock the aura.

• Head to the area circled in the image above.
• Break the water vein with a heavy attack or Elemental Skill.
• Perform with the Melodic Harp to complete the puzzle.

After this segment, the rest of the World Quest just involves dialogue, and can be done by following the quest marker.
