Finally, Genshin Impact version 1.1 has been released! Are you ready to venture into the World of Teyvat again and level up the new Reputation System? It's definitely worthwhile as with each level you earn in each region, you will earn some pretty amazing items, like the Anemo and Geo Treasure Compasses.
Where to craft the Anemo and Geo Treasure Compasses in Genshin Impact
To get the Anemo and Geo Treasure Compasses in Genshin Impact, you have to reach Reputation Level 6 in both Liyue and Mondstadt, as each region has a Treasure Compass. As the required level is hit, you'll earn a blueprint to allow you to craft the Treasure Compass at the Blacksmith.
Reputation Level 6 is three-quarters of the way to the maximum level, which is Reputation Level 8. Undoubtedly, you've quickly gained levels due to your playing the game before the latest update transpired; this means that all your progress is automatically added to the Reputation System. However, if you are a bit shy of hitting the required level, go and complete the new Requests and Bounties featured in the game, though keep in mind you can only do three a week.
There are two Treasure Compasses you can get - an Anemo Treasure Compass for Mondstadt and a Geo Treasure Compass for Liyue. You cannot use the Anemo one in Liyue and vice versa. They have to be used in their corresponding regions.
To craft the two Treasure Compasses, you need the following:
- Anemo Treasure Compass
- Geo Treasure Compass
- Golden Raven Insignia x10, Cor Lapis x30, Crystal Chunks x50, and 50000 Mora
To activate the Treasure Compass, go to your inventory, go to the new Gadgets tab, and click on the Treasure Compass you want to use. Then in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, hit Equip. This will equip the Compass, and all you have to do is press Z or the correct input on PlayStation 4 and mobile devices to use it.
When activated, this will cause a golden wisp of energy to appear and point you in the direction of the nearest Treasure Chest. If there is a chest located nearby, the Compass will enter a 30-second cooldown. However, if no chest is found, the Compass will only enter a 5-second cooldown.
