Genshin Impact’s upcoming TCG, Genius Invokation, encourages quick thinking according to new leaks

Given the rising popularity of other card games, such as Marvel Snap, the addition of a trading card game to Genshin Impact couldn't come at a better time. Genius Invokation TCG has been officially announced via Genshin Impact's Twitter Account to be coming in a new permanent gameplay mode in Version update 3.3.

Since the Version 3.3 beta has already begun, fresh leaks have trickled out about this upcoming feature. Keep in mind that all of these leaks are based on beta data. They may be subject to change or entirely incorrect. This recently leaked ruleset seems complex, and it also appears to encourage players to act fast if they want an advantage.

According to the Reddit post, Genshin Impact's TCG describes itself as "tightly-paced" and "heart-stopping." This may be due to its design, which may give an advantage to players who complete their actions before their opponent. According to leaks, doing so will allow the player's actions to be done first in the following round. This could provide a significant advantage to players who can act fast.

Thinking quickly may be trickier than it seems, however. The purportedly leaked ruleset features many actions that players can take during a round. The potential actions include using an active character's Elemental Skills, changing active characters, playing Action, Equipment, or Support cards, or discarding in exchange for changing the Elemental Power available to you. And if this Reddit leak is correct, there may be over 200 cards to build your deck and battle with.

What has been officially announced is that Genius Invokation TCG will be a PvE-focused gameplay mode in which players can challenge NPCs and certain playable characters to duels. A PvP mode will be available to challenge friends, but there will be no rewards for this mode of play. All cards will be available via gameplay.
