Reviews indicate God of War Ragnarök is yet another masterpiece

Ragnarök is here and we can't be more ready.

God of War Ragnarök has been one of the most highly-anticipated titles of 2023, and thankfully, it lives up to the hype. This is unsurprising considering the quality of reception of the first God of War, released in 2018, but it is good to see for fans.

God of War Ragnarök currently sits at 94 on Metacritic and 94 on OpenCritic. It has received nearly perfect reviews from various outlets, many of which scored it at 10/10 or 5/5, and a select few gave the sequel a 9/10 and 4/5. Here are a few reviews for God of War Ragnarök.

Santa Monica Studios has seemingly struck gold by rebooting God of War and turning Kratos into a caring father as he leads Atreus through a Norse-inspired world. With its almost unanimous praise, God of War Ragnarök is sure to be a must-have for those on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 when it launches on November 9, 2022.
