All Hogwarts Valley Ancient Magic Hotspots in Hogwarts Legacy

Collect traces of Ancient Magic to grow your power!

Much like the Merlin Trials can increase your gear capacity, the Ancient Magic Hotspots can increase your Ancient Magic meter. This allows you to utilize your Ancient Magic more before it runs out and essentially makes you much more powerful in battle. You can find Ancient Magic Hotspots spread all around the World Map. There are six of them in the Hogwarts Valley region. Here is where to find them.

All Hogwarts Valley Ancient Magic Hotspots Locations in Hogwarts Legacy

There are six total Ancient Magic Hotspots in the Hogwarts Valley region of the World Map. You can figure out which region this is by zooming out of your map using the triggers on your controller or the wheel on your mouse until the various region names appear. Here is where you can find all six of these Hotspots:

1. Central Hogwarts Valley #1

The first one is just south of Hogwarts castle, in the very northern part of Hogwarts Valley. You can find it easily by taking the Central Hogwarts Valley Floo and heading west.

2. Central Hogwarts Valley #2

The second is not far from the first, just on the opposite side of the river. Take the Central Hogwarts Valley Floo and head southeast, slightly toward Brocburrow.

3. Brocburrow

The next Hotspot is located just outside the hamlet of Brocburrow. You can take the Brocburrow Floo Flame and head southeast to find it. It is tucked away near some spider lairs, so be on your guard.

4. West Hogwarts Valley

The fourth Hotspot sits up in a hall, once again nestled inside some old ruins just above the Keensbridge area. To get there, use the West Hogwarts Valley Floo and head southeast. You may have to utilize a broom or flying mount to get up there more easily.

5. Keensbridge #1

The last two Hotspots are near the hamlet of Keensbridge. This one sits on the west side of the town, just below the hill where you can find the last Hotspot. Take the Keensbridge Floo and head west down the path, and you'll spot the ruins.

6. Keensbridge #2

The second Keensbridge Hotspot is located on the opposite side of the hamlet. Take the Keensbridge Floo Flame and head east over the bridge, and follow the river to some more ruins, where you'll also find an astronomy table.

These are all the spots in the Hogwarts Valley region of the World Map, but there are still plenty of others to locate to solve all of the Ancient Magic Hotspots and successfully increase your Ancient Magic meter. Keep a look out for those magical traces.
