Getting Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy

It may seem obvious, but the best way to get your hands on Troll Bogeys is to slay the buggers and loot their corpses. More often than not, a single troll will drop more than bogey for your collection, and they often are in pairs, depending on the type.

While there are several types of trolls in the game, the most common ones are River Trolls within the depths of the Forbidden Forest. These trolls are also the weakest, and you can abuse their limited moveset from a distance. As the name suggests, River Trolls are found near stomping around flowing rivers.

Trolls under Ranrok's control also drop Troll Bogeys every time you kill them, though they are significantly more dangerous and far less common. Beware of their aggressive natures and advanced movements. They often change up their attacks regardless of your distance from them, so be prepared to counter at a moment's notice.
