All Vista Point Locations in Horizon Forbidden West

Taking in the views of the Forbidden West!

There are nine total Vista Points across the world of Horizon Forbidden West for players to go and view. Vista Points are scans of the environment in beautiful locals from before the world was ravaged by the Faro Plague. This is one of Elisabet Sobeck's many projects to appreciate the natural world and its balance.

The Daunt Vista Point

On the way to Chainscrape, before passing over the river here, players can find the first of the nine Vista Points. Use the focus the find the signal, and get close to the box where it is coming from to be prompted into looking around. Players will have to complete the image in order to unlock it.

From the place where the signal is spouting, head into the forest and keep right. Stay near the edge of the woods, until the brick base of the old bridge can be seen sticking out over where the river runs. Standing on this side of that base and facing toward the dilapidated buildings should register the Vista Point.

Plainsong Vista Point

To the west of Plainsong, near the edge of the mountains, players can find the second Vista Point Tower. Again, simply use the Focus in order to find where the signal is from and receive a fragment of the image. This one features three of the large dishes from Plainsong.

From here, head further up the mountainside. Once players see some metal hanging over the edge in the middle height of the mountain, they should climb up to reach that spot. This is actually a room, and the pieces hanging off are what is left of the windowed wall, facing in the direction of the Plainsong dishes. Turn to look out the non-existent windows to receive the full image.

Scalding Spear Vista Point

Northeast of Scalding Spear, out in the mountainous region. Use the focus to find the exact location of the signal up here to receive the image. Then, glide down the mountain to where two more small buildings are on the edge of the lower cliffside. Use the fallen tree to climb to the top of the one off to the right and angle the Vista Point towards Scalding Spear.

The Stillsands Vista Point

Directly north of Dunehollow, the next Vista Point signal is coming from a tower's box on a rocky plot before the cliffs. Scan the signal with the Focus to view the partial image of Las Vegas. To find the proper viewing point, climb up the rocky cliff edge nearby to reach a concrete platform with broken metal fencing. From here, turn back to look at The Stillsands and bring up the image.

Dunehollow Vista Point

Inside the building of Dunehollow, players can find another of the Vista Points. This one is down in the underground mall area, where players find POSEIDON. It'll be in the space all lit up with holograms that peek up through the ground above. This tower is near the base of the hologram Eiffel Tower.

To find the actual Vista Point image, head back to the Chinese building and get on the bridge just past it. Walk to the far edge of the broken bridge and look back near the corner of the Eiffel Tower where the Vista Point Tower is located. Lining it up perfectly can be a bit of a pain.

The Memorial Grove Vista Point

North of The Memorial Grove, players can find this next Vista Point Tower alongside the road near the intersection. After scanning it with the Focus, head northeast toward the cliff's edge with a strange metal object atop it.

Once players get a closer look at it, they will be able to tell it is a small dish. Get up on the platforms behind it, using the pullcaster. Then look back towards it and line up the image.

The Long Coast Vista Point

At the farthest northern end of The Long Coast, players can find the next Vista Point Tower. After scanning it, head west along the beach. Using the pullcaster, get on top of the second large rocky island with a bunch of trees. From this spot, look back northeast toward the Faro building and line up the images.

Shrouded Heights Vista Point

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

At the central northern point of the island, near Shrouded Heights, players can find the second to last Vista Point Tower. After scanning the tower, players will receive a prompt to look underwater for this point. Swim straight out into the water from this shoreline.

Keep going straight until a large domed building comes into view underwater. then head to the right, giving a wide berth around it. Swim down to a small dilapidated area covered in blue glowing barnacles and look up at the domed building. From here players should be able to line up the image.

Isle of Spires Vista Point

The last of the Vista Point Towers can be found at the far central-southern end of the same island. This tower will be a little more inland than the last one. Again, it'll be alongside the road just north of the boat on the coast, northwest of the Clawstrider territory.

This tower will be on top of a mossy pile of concrete rubble and be covered in giant Monstera Deliciosa vines. Players will need to grab their Sunwing to reach this particular Vista Point. Fly up to the top of the gigantic red metal tower close by. A spot to land the Sunwing should be highlighted. Get to the top of the metal pillar with a yellow bar extended out on it and look northeast. The image should line up fairly easily.
