All anomalies in I’m on Observation Duty 4

All possible anomalies players can find in I'm on Observation Duty 4!

As with all of the previous I'm on Observation Duty games, players can find tons of different anomalies throughout their several playthroughs. These anomalies are what players need to be looking out for in order to efficiently monitor the house and safely leave after their shift. Leaving too many anomalies unchecked will result in an automatic game over, so players will need to keep their eyes peeled for this kind of activity.

Let's break down all of the types of reports the player can make and then what would count as that type of anomaly.

Anomaly Types:

  • Abyss Presence - These are new shadows or dark spots in a room.
  • Camera Malfunction - Any sort of added graininess, lack of visibility, change in color.
  • Distortion - These tend to be objects that change their form. They might look normal some of the time but slowly and continuously change their shape over time. Alternatively, the object may suddenly be a different size.
  • Extra Object - Much like the title puts it, this is any object that has been added to a scene. Specifically objects that don't fit the other categories.
  • Ghost - Unlike the intruder, a ghost will try and draw attention to itself, often waving its arms around and hanging out in plain sight. It will also be much less human-like.
  • Intruder - A physical humanoid that appears within the home. They often will stand in a corner or peer through something at the camera.
  • Light Anomaly - A change in the lighting of a room. This will only add light to a room, so if it's getting darker report the Abyss Presence instead.
  • Object Disappearance - Any object that suddenly disappears from one of the rooms.
  • Object Movement - This is any sort of movement of an object from one space in the frame to a different space. Object Movement and Object Disappearance are quite similar, so players will need to keep their eyes sharp!
  • Other - Other just covers anything outside of the rest of these categories. If it isn't a clearly listed anomaly, it's probably an "other."
  • Painting Anomaly - This anomaly can be categorized as a change in the look of a painting or what the painting is of entirely.
  • TV/ Radio Anomaly - Any change in the TV or Radio. Keep an eye out for the channel changing or a difference in sound.
