How to play the Kaycee’s Mod for Inscryption

Inscryption exploded in popularity upon its release on Oct. 19, 2021. This horror card game can be called many things, most of them being good. However, fans have been wanting since its release an actual roguelike experience. Finally, that request has been answered.

Kaycee's Mod for Inscryption transforms the game's first act into an actual roguelike game similar to Slay the Spire. To play this mod and change the game, follow these steps.

• Open Steam and go to your library.
• Right-click on Inscryption and select Properties.
• Go to the Betas tab and enter the code "givemeascensionmode".

This will initiate the install of the mod. Keep in mind this mod is in beta form, and there may be some issues that have the dev wants to be reported.

The Kaycee's Mod adds many new features such as different skulls to change each run, new cards, new items, and a final encounter. The game's first act is largely the most popular, and its mechanics are perfect for a roguelike. So what are you waiting for? Go play some Inscryption!
