All Tournament of Souls Expert Mode Fights & How to Beat Them

While the gameplay is fun and easy in the Tournament of Souls game mode, it is an entirely different experience in Expert mode. If you're struggling to beat any characters like Shaco or others in Tournament of Souls Expert Mode, you must first customize your abilities, then follow the strategy guide given below.

How to beat Gwen in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To defeat Gwen, equip the following abilities to your character.

  • Q Ability:  Deadshot
  • W Ability: Blade Drain
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Chaotic Daybreak

As soon as the fight begins, use the W + Q combo for quick initial damage. After that, spam E -> Q -> W-> Q and E + R whenever your ultimate is ready. Sometimes, Gwen will be invincible and gain damage reduction. Please do not use your R ability (Ultimate), as it will be less effective in these scenarios. Repeat these combos till you defeat Gwen.

How to beat Lux in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To beat Lux, use the following skill abilities.

  • Q Ability:  Quickshot
  • W Ability: Back Atcha
  • E Ability:  Twilight Rush
  • R Ability:  Chaotic Daybreak

Unlike Gwen, there are no specific spam combos to defeat Lux. Instead, you must rely on reversing her ultimate using your W ability. When the match begins, use the E + Q combo whenever she is in her normal form and wait for her to use her ultimate. When she uses her final ability, use your W ability to reverse it and cause severe damage to her health. Also, never use your R ability when she is shielded or has not used her ultimate ability in a while. Being patient and countering her ultimate is the key to success against Lux.

How to beat Naafri in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

Equip the following loadout before hopping on to a match against Naafri in Expert Mode.

  • Q Ability:  Quickshot
  • W Ability: Blade Drain
  • E Ability:  Twilight Rush
  • R Ability:  Chaotic Daybreak

Naafri is one of the easiest characters on this list to beat. Once the match begins, kill her Wolves using the E + Q. Then keep using E + W to acquire combo points, heal, and deal damage. Save up on your ultimate and use it when she does not have any Wolves or Shields for protection. As mentioned, it's an easy brawl, but be careful to maintain a distance and keep eliminating her Wolves.

How to beat Jhin in Tournaments of Souls - Expert Mode

To win against Jhin in expert mode, use the following skill loadout.

  • Q Ability:  Deadshot
  • W Ability: Back Atcha
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Chaotic Daybreak

Like Lux, defeating Jhin depends on you reversing his one-shot kill ability. Save up on your W ability, and when he shoots his bullets three times in a row, just press W and counter his one-shot auto lock skill. Other than that, the Q + E + Q combo works pretty well against him. Also, try to sneak in a W at the end of the above combo to stack up some combo points. When his HP gets low, he will use his ultimate, which can also one-shot Samira. So, save your W for the end moments of the fight to block his ultimate.

How to beat Pyke in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To win against Pyke, use the following set of abilities.

  • Q Ability:  Deadshot
  • W Ability: Blade Drain
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Immortal Inferno

Self Healing with your W is the most important criterion to survive against Pyke. Once the match begins, use the following set of combos.

E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E -> Q -> R

E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E -> Q -> W -> R

Q -> E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E

As mentioned above, these combos focus on self-healing using W in between. Also, try to use the heal before using R's ability, as he might reverse and kill you. Repeat the set of combos till you defeat Pyke.

How to beat Evelynn in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To win against Evelynn, use the following skills.

  • Q Ability:  Deadshot
  • W Ability: Back Atcha
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Immortal Inferno

Like Pyke, surviving is key to emerge victorious against Evelynn. Use Q and E as your main source of damage while sparsely using W, as you need to use the W to block her ultimate, which you can hear by listening to her heartbeat audio cue or the disappearing animation. Block her reversal and cause her to bleed heavily. Rinse and repeat to win against Evelynn on the Expert mode.

How to beat Sett in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To emerge victorious against Sett, equip the given abilities for Samira.

  • Q Ability:  Piercing Precision
  • W Ability: Blade Drain
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Chaotic Daybreak

Outhealing with your Blade Drain is essential to overcoming all the insane DPS inflicted by Sett. Once the match begins, use a simple E + Q to start your battle. After that, Sett will begin unloading a barrage of unstoppable attacks, which includes teleporting and stunning. Just take those shots and heal using your W ability when possible. Then use the traditional - E -> Q -> W -> Q combo move to inflict regular damage. Also, use Q after the combo to break his shield to avoid his one-punch mechanism. Additionally, try to use your Ultimate when he is going to use his Stun-Punch. Follow the strategy, and Sett will turn out to be less scary than usual.

How to beat Shaco in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To overcome Shaco, use the following loadout.

  • Q Ability:  Quickshot
  • W Ability: Back Atcha
  • E Ability:  Twilight Rush
  • R Ability:  Immortal Inferno

Firstly, use the E ability to throw grenades on his clone and Q to detonate. Since you are not concentrating on his bots, they will stun Samira. Use the Q ability once the cooldown ends to overcome the stun. Now, he will start disappearing and teleporting. Be ready with your W to reverse his sudden attack after reappearing. Repeat the same procedure with his second bot. By this time, you will also have the R ability. Use it after his second appearance. Rinse and Repeat to defeat Shaco.

How to beat Viego in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To defeat Viego in Expert mode, use the following set of abilities for combat.

  • Q Ability:  Deadshot
  • W Ability: Blade Drain
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Immortal Inferno

Even though Viego is the penultimate character, he can easily be defeated by using the following spam combos.

First, start with E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E -> Q -> R and then switch to Q -> E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E -> Q ->R. Both these spam combos have the R (ultimate) ability at the end, which should be ready at the end of each combo. After dishing out four such combos, he should have 10 to 50 HP. Finish him off using a basic Q + E combo to secure a win.

How to beat God Eye Viego in Tournament of Souls - Expert Mode

To overcome God Eye Viego, equip the following skills in your arsenal.

  • Q Ability:  Piercing Precision
  • W Ability: Blade Drain
  • E Ability:  Severe Strike
  • R Ability:  Chaotic Daybreak

The basic combo for God Eye Viego is the E -> Q -> W -> Q -> E -> Q -> R. While performing this combo, you should look out for the defensive armor buff, which should be available to him by the time you have your R ability. If he has the R ability, remove the R ability from the above combo and use it when the armor runs out. After using your R ability at least two times, he will steal some of your HP bars, turning them purple. Do not panic! Repeat your combo, but be sure to line up your Q when he changes into Scythe form. If you do not line up your Q, you may not break his shield, which will result in your death due to low HP. Also, when he grabs your HP for the second time, keep your R ability ready to survive and recover your bar. In the end, he will start changing forms, so be patient and use your Q to break Viego and finish him for good.
