Omega Red confirmed to enter Marvel Strike Force

Arkady Gregorivich, better known as Omega Red, has been officially confirmed to enter the Strike Force scene! Gregorivich is a Russian-born mutant with super-soldier powers and an everlasting taste for killing. The character is set to be released in the next few weeks under his own Mystic Legendary event, "Red Death". The announcement was made on September 17 in an update post on the official Marvel Strike Force website.

Omega Red is the Legendary character for the Weapon X team. Weapon X also includes Sabretooth and Wolverine, which will both receive reworks in the near future. Omega Red is listed as a Controller and has plenty of Focus and Health—both of which are enhanced by his passive ability.

Omega Red brings to the table the new negative effect, "Trauma." When this effect is applied to opponents, they cannot flip or remove debuffs. Most importantly, other than having synergy with Weapon X members (Wolverine, Sabretooth), Omega Red also possesses the ability to steal Health and redistribute it to himself in all of his attacks, which could be the cure to shutting down Heroes-For-Hire Luke Cage's Power Man ability.

There are plenty of super soldiers emerging on the Marvel Strike Force scene. But in the near future, you'll have the opportunity to meet the beast among beasts, the most lethal super soldier among them all: Omega Red.
