Marvel's Midnight Suns is a game developed by the makers of XCOM wherein players can fight alongside some of their favorite Marvel heroes to take down Lilith, an infamous Marvel villain. It was originally announced at Gamescom 2021, but the release date was officially revealed at the Disney/Marvel Games Showcase in September 2022. The game releases on December 2, 2022.

Marvel's Midnight Suns will be available on all current and last-gen consoles. The game can be played on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Game Store). The game will be playable on all consoles at launch except for the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version of the game is coming at a later date.

The game is developed by Fixaris, the maker of XCOM, and will follow a similar style of gameplay. Players will control a superpowered being via turn-based combat throughout a crafted story. Players can fight alongside a cast of Marvel heroes and villains while trying to stop Lilith, a villain hell-bent on reviving her master, Chthon. In terms who which Marvel heroes are in Midnight Suns, the developer has confirmed there will be 13 playable characters total, so fans have more announcements and surprises to look forward to.
