How to complete the Weakness of the Ego Quest in New World?

Harvest, craft, and profit.

To initiate the Weakness of the Ego quest in New World, a player must speak with an NPC named Adiana Theron located in the North of Everfall in the Daughterwell. This quest relies on collecting certain items to craft Corruption Tinctures.

You will need to find: Water, Petalcaps, Rivercress Stems. In order to extract Rivercress Stems, you will need to level up Harvesting to level 30. To harvest some materials you will need a Harvesting Sickle.

If you have level 30 in Harvesting you can move on and look for Petalcaps and Rivercress Stems in Everfall, especially across the rivers between Everfall and Windsward.

You will need to find and harvest three Rivercress plants that appear around the bodies of water. They are very easy to spot with blue-colored flowers. Harvesting them will give you Rivercress Stems.

Petalcaps can be found all around Windsward. You will need to find and harvest three Fronded Petalcaps. You can find and extract Water in any river of the game.

When you gather all materials you can head to an Arcane Repository to craft three Corruption Tinctures. After crafting, all you need to do is to talk with Adiana Theron to finish the quest. You will earn a Weapon Case, 2690XP, 72 Coins, and 20 Azoth.
