Does Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl have a story mode?

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s entrance into the fighting game genre sent a shockwave through gaming circles upon announcement as a viable alternative to the Super Smash Bros. franchise. This platform fighter plays much like its competition, but does it have as much content, namely, a story mode?

Unfortunately, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl does not contain a story mode for players to enjoy. While Nick’s platform fighter doesn’t have a story, it does boast an arcade mode. Arcade Mode pits players against a slew of opponents, keeping track of who players have completed this game type.

While Arcade Mode is a nice inclusion in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, the lack of story content can be a make-or-break feature for some fighting game fans. Those looking for a quality story mode should search elsewhere. Anyone interested in a wacky arcade fighter that doesn’t mind the game lacking a story mode is sure to have a blast with this entertaining platform brawler.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows for $49.99 as of October 5, 2021.
