PlayStation Studios acquires Haven, a new studio headed by Jade Raymond

PlayStation Studios has one of the most prolific roster of gaming studios in the industry, and while PlayStation is a massive corporation, their ranks continue to grow. Their latest acquisition may not be a veteran developer, but it possesses familiar talents from the industry.

The latest acquisition from PlayStation Studios is Haven Studios, a team headed by Jade Raymond, best known for her work as Executive Producer on Assassin's Creed II and Watch Dogs. The announcement was unveiled on March 21, with the Head of PlayStation Studios, Hermen Hulst, posting about the acquisition of this first-party studio on Twitter.

As Herman Hulst stated in his post, Haven is working on an original multiplayer game for PlayStation Studios. Jade Raymond made a statement about the acquisition via the PlayStation Blog, expressing how excited she and the team are to begin this new chapter for the recently created studio. She went on to specify that the team is developing a AAA multiplayer experience with Sony Interactive Entertainment.
