In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Natures will affect a Pokémon's stats. One stat will be raised by 10%, while another will be lowered by 10%. This may not seem like a big change, but increasing a Pokémon's strongest stat and lowering its weakest stat can make it perform much better in battle and set it apart from others. All Pokémon will have a Nature by default, which you can find in the Pokémon's summary screen.
Chatot is the Normal and Flying-type "Music Note" Pokémon. Chatot is an impressive special attack stat for a single evolution Pokémon and can really do some damage with the right moveset. With powerful Normal and Flying special attacks like Hurricane, Air Slash, and Air Cutter, Chatot can deal huge blows to opponents in battle.
The best Natures for Chatot are:
- Rash (+special attack, -special defense)
- Mild (+special attack, -defense)
Since Chatot has a high special attack stat, players should find a Nature that will raise that even higher to give the Pokémon an even greater advantage in battle. Rash and Mild will both raise Chatot's special attack stat while lower other, less important, stat like defense and special defense. Players using either of these two Natures should be sure to use special attacks instead of physical attacks, as you will not boost those.
A Pokémon's best Nature will ultimately come down to the player using it. While it is good to increase a Pokémon's best stat with its Nature, players should go with a Nature that compliments their playstyle the best.
