Earn some Merit Points!

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the latest iteration in the Pokémon franchise. As with all substantial additions in the franchise, it introduces new mechanics and systems for players to utilize throughout their journey. Players will earn Merit Points along their travels, but what does this currency do, and how do players get it?

Merit Points are a resource that players can trade for items, like Pokéballs and evolutionary items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Players earn Merit Points by collecting lost satchels in the wild. These lost satchels are worth 50-100 Merit Points, but how many points players get per satchel is random. Once you return these items to the Lost & Found in Jubilife Village, you'll receive points.

Once you've saved up some Merit Points, you can head over to the Trading Post in Jubilife Village and exchange them for consumable items, including evolutionary materials essential for evolving specific Pokémon. Make sure to keep your eyes open for lost satchels in your travels so you can stockpile Merit Points in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
