How to get Dialga or Palkia in Pokemon GO

How to get Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia in Pokemon GO for free

Players who attended the Pokemon GO Sinnoh Tour's LA event had the opportunity to obtain either Origin Forme Dialga or Origin Forme Palkia, based on the badge they selected. The entrance fee to the Rose Bowl LA event was $30 per person, while the Pokemon GO Tour Sinnoh Global event, however, is free and worldwide.

The Pokemon GO Tour Sinnoh Global event will launch on the weekend of February 24th and 25th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. This event will feature raids throughout the weekend with Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia based on your choice between the diamond or pearl badge, giving you the opportunity to catch either one from the comfort of your home for free.

Diamond or Pearl: Which badge to pick in Pokemon GO Sinnoh, Dialga or Palkia?

During the GO Tour 2024: Road to Sinnoh research, choosing the diamond badge will allow you to encounter Origin Forme Dialga, while the pearl badge will grant you the opportunity to encounter Origin Forme Palkia. Each path is exclusive, so if you choose one, you miss out on the other. The loss of rewards between each step isn't significant at all, in my opinion, just leaving the choice between the two Pokemon.

Given Pokemon GO's PvE and PvP atmosphere, you generally want to choose a Pokemon that is more valuable in terms of strengths versus weaknesses. Dialga comes out on top; however, not by much. In the end, I say you should leave it up to personal preference.
