Pokémon Go: April Community Day Classic – Event Bonuses, Event Bundles, and Featured Pokémon

Niantic has announced the second Pokémon Go Community Day Classic. Community Day Classics are separate from regular Community Days and feature a past Community Day Pokémon. This is so players that are new to the game can obtain exclusive Community Day moves and catch the shiny variant of previous Community Day Pokémon that they may not have been around for.

This is a way to get new players involved and present less barrier to entry for potential players. The April Community Day Classic will take place on April 10, 2022, local time from 2pm to 5pm.

Featured Pokémon

The April Community Day Class features the Generation Three starter Pokémon, Mudkip. Its shiny form is one of the most coveted in Pokémon Go due to its drastic change, going from blue to pink. A Pokémon evolved into Swampert during (and for up to two hours after) the Community Day Classic will know the exclusive move Hydro Cannon. This is a powerful Water-type attack that can be of great use in battle.

Event Bonuses

The event will feature a few different bonuses for players to enjoy. The full list can be found below:

• Triple the catch XP during the event
• Lure Modules activated during the Community Day Classic will last for three hours
• Incense activated during the Community Day Classic will last for three hours
• Snapshots taken during the Community Day Classic may feature a surprise cameo

Event Bundles

A Community Day Box will be available during the event for 850 PokéCoins and will contain 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Pinap Berries, one Elite Fast TM, and one Remote Raid Pass. Another Bundle containing 30 Ultra Balls will be available for free during the event as well.
