How to use Rudolph Mueller – Triangle Strategy Unit Guide

Short range, big hit.

Every character in Triangle Strategy is built differently. Each of them have unique skills, terrain advantages, and a variety of uses depending on the situation. Some units work better with others. Others are great for farming coin or items but shouldn’t be taken to main stage battles.

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to use Rudolph, the former salt smuggler who was exiled from Aesfrost.

Rudolph a hunter in every sense of the word. His range is small, but he hits hard and he hits fast. Rudolph is ideally used as a kill unit, as his speed increases more when he defeats an enemy.

A turn cycle for Rudolph would go like this:

  • Make him wait on the same square. This triggers Those Who Wait, which increases crit chance. He’s best positioned on top of houses, walls, or cliffs.
  • Use Straight Shot or Slumber Shot. Straight Shot is very powerful and has a high chance of defeating an enemy. Slumber Shot inflicts sleep, preventing the target from moving for two turns. Use whatever is more applicable.
  • Rinse, repeat.

He also has a skill that can set traps but we don’t recommend it. The damage isn’t very good. If you want to set better traps, deploy Jens instead.

Rudolph is fast, but he can be faster with speed accessories. The other slot should either a Luck Bracelet or Amulet. It’ll increase his crit chance.

Class promotions and weapon upgrades

At some point, you want all of Rudolph’s upgrades unlocked. However, at the beginning, you can focus on Weapon Damage, Speed/Accuracy Up, and Luck Up. He doesn’t really need it, but at Weapon Rank three, he gains the skill Rain of Arrows. It deals area damage.

He doesn’t need the Elite promotion immediately either, but it will significantly boost his stats. So, if you’re a Rudolph fan, you can prioritize it. Elite class will also unlock the Staggering Arrow skill, which can knock an enemy back.
