Gamefam Studios, the popular development and production studio behind various Roblox experiences, including All Star Tower Defense, Twilight Daycare, Car Dealership Tycoon, and more, has announced its partnership with Funky Friday via a tweet posted to their official Twitter account on May 11, 2022. The details surrounding this partnership are unknown at the time of this article's publication, but it's to be assumed that Funky Friday will be receiving multiple updates in the near future and will continue to receive substantial updates so long as the partnership continues.
Even though this partnership is big, it isn't the biggest that Gamefam Studios has managed to secure. In March 2022, the studio announced Sonic Speed Simulator, a direct collab with Sega that brought an officially licensed Sonic the Hedgehog experience to Roblox. Since its release, this experience has held an active player count of around 40,000 users and received an exceptionally uncommon like to dislike ratio of nearly 800,000 likes to 30,000 dislikes.

Lyte Interactive, the development team behind Funky Friday, have yet to make any of their own announcements regarding this partnership, though they have retweeted the announcement on their personal Twitter account.
Fan reactions to this announcement have been mixed, with some excited about the partnership and others disappointed. Because Roblox as a platform hosts mainly free-to-play experiences, many players worry about their favorite experiences implementing internal pay-to-win aspects and features as they grow in popularity and take on partnerships like this. Most famously, Pet Simulator X has received waves of backlash due to its numerous in-game gamepasses, Robux blocked features, and real-life toys.
As mentioned in the first graph of this article, details beyond the basic, already introduced information is limited; it may take months for new updates or changes to be added to the experience.
