With a whole new life stage added, Sims can do much more with their babies. When babies grow into infants, Sims can perform interactions like carrying them, talking to them, nursing them, and putting them in their cribs.

Sims can also now create Science babies, which gives them the opportunity to use genetic material to create a baby via a surrogate. The process allows for single parents to create a baby using the power of science to instantly join the household.
