How to use Ziplines in Sons of the Forest

In Sons of the Forest, you need to explore and visit various locations around the map to find certain items. Not all of these areas can be traversed easily, and for this, you'll need to use Ziplines. However, to use these Ziplines, you must acquire another item first. Here's how to use Ziplines in Sons of the Forest.

How to travel via Ziplines in Sons of the Forest

To use any of the Ziplines found across the map, you need to first acquire the Rope Gun. This item can be acquired from one of the caves in Sons of the Forest, and you can even use it to create your own Ziplines. The cave itself is located at the middle green blip on the western half of the map. We recommend getting the Flashlight or crafting a Torch before going inside this cave as it's dark inside. Once you have the Rope Gun, you can use the Ziplines across the map.

Once you have acquired the Rope Gun, you need to make Grappling Hooks which can be done by printing them on 3D Printers. After you have acquired the Grappling Hooks, open your inventory and combine them with ropes. This will make a Zipline Rope that can be equipped with the Rope Gun. Aim the Rope Gun at a surface to shoot to Grappling Hook, and attach the other end to another surface.
