The 2022 Steam Summer Sale is live, offering discounts on games across much of the online store. The Steam Summer Sale runs until July 7, 2022 and features a strange quest from a time-traveler named Clorthax.
Clorthax comes with a quest to find 10 hidden games in the Steam Store during the 2022 Summer Sale. Each game has a cryptic clue that will help you find them. Finding the hidden games rewards you with the Clorthax Paradox Party Badge, which levels up with each game you find. On the Steam Summer Sale main page, scroll down to the banner that says "Free Fun This Way," then follow Clorthax's clues.
How to find the Clorthax Summer Sale Quest Games
The clues can get a little confusing, but here is the list of games that may be included in the Clorthax Summer Sale quest:
- Guitar Billionaire
- Custard Castle Small Claims Court
- Bass Ain't Bitin' 2022
- Dead Seagull Zoo Magnate
- Actually... Frankenstein's Monster Edition
Each game you find will unlock the next clue on Clorthax's Summer Sale Quest, however, some users are having trouble getting the badge. The quest seems to crash for many users, so only the first five games can be confirmed.
With the Steam Summer Sale kicking off, traffic is extremely high, causing some Steam Store issues. Some users are not able to move forward on the Clorthax quest. If the quest is not progressing, or if finding the game brings you back to the original Clorthax quest page, try clearing your online cache, signing out of Steam, then try again.
