Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is the second game in the Turnip Boy series. Unlike the first game, it's an action roguelite that requires you to rob the same bank over and over with newer and newer upgrades. Here is a complete walkthrough of Turnip Boy Robs a Bank.
Complete guide to Turnip Boy Robs a Bank
As stated above, Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a roguelite, which means you will need upgrades, weapons, and items to continue through the content—with these, you can get a little bit further into the bank each time.
First, you need to complete the opening sequence and the tutorial, but these are pretty straightforward. Next, you will be dropped into the bank, where Stinky will try to call the police. In each round, you will have three minutes to grab as much stuff as you can, then get back to the truck and head back to the main base.

In order to get started, you will need to interact with the truck. This will start the bank robbing section of the game, giving you three minutes (or more with upgrades) to swipe as much money from the bank as possible. Your money bag starts off with a maximum of $1,000. There are several different objects and events that will earn you money, sellable items, weapons, and wearables. Money is the most important thing to grab; you'll want to fill your bag as much as possible every time you head into the bank.
Objects that you pick up, like the bronze and silver vases and kazoos you find in cases, Stink statues that you have broken down and picked up pieces of, wallets and cell phones of those you have shaken down, will be sold and added to your total income on top of the money in your bag. If you die, you lose all weapons you have picked up, all sellable objects, and half your money.
The point is to defeat enemies, steal money, and get out before the timer runs out. If the timer does run out, enemies will spawn in increasing numbers, indicated by the stars in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Every enemy you kill drops money and has a chance to drop different weapons that can be turned into Twin #1 to fill the bar of the weapon unlock Blueprint Station.
Another thing to be found in the bank: boss battles. There are several doors locked by keycards that can be obtained in boss battles. Each card is numbered and has a different color. As you unlock each of the doors, it will get faster to get to later parts of the map where new bosses and higher-paying objects can be found.
Door Types
Some high-paying objects can also be hidden behind elevators, where the elevators lead is randomized each time you return to the bank. There are several different types of elevators, and you can tell which one you are walking into by the picture on the outside of the door.
Here are all the different types of doors you can come across and where each of them leads:
- Plain gray elevator door: These lead to the office spaces where Old Lady Lime, Ravioli, and safes can be found. There is basically one layout, and there are always two safes to be broken into it. To break into safes, you need to have purchased the laser pointer.
- Gray elevator door with golden trim: The golden-trimmed doors always lead to the office rooms with lasers and vaults. In order to get into the vaults, you will need to have purchased C4. You can also find several NPCs needed for side quests in these layouts.
- Elevator door decorated with mounds of dirt: Leads to Pie, who wants you to collect eight pet rocks for the side quest Rocks, Rocks and more Rocks.
- Skull door surrounded by green goop: This goes to the Shroominati Shadows, the location of the mushroom cultists.
- A bonfire with a sword in the middle: A weapons dealer that deals in souls. Needed for the side quest Sell Your Soul.
- Bath bubbles and a rubber duck: This leads to a locker room where you will unlock the weapons locker where you can store weapons. It leads to a locker room filled with lockers that sometimes hold money or special weapons.
- Bloody pentagram: Leads into Crancran's gladiatorial battles. She sends three rounds of enemies to kill, and then rewards you with a mess of weapons and money.
- Melty Fox Face: This door leads to the Lab Lab, where a dog from another dimension will ask you to take down an optional boss.

A Manhwa for Meemah
Outside the elevator in the top middle of the Seed Stock, there is a small emo-looking cranberry named Crangelica. She is sad that you "killed her grandmother," and tells you off. Talk to CranCran, then head back to Crangelica to not only complete this side quest but also get a phone for the Say Cheese! side quest.
A Painter's Payment
In the Fancy Foyer, directly up and a little to the right of the entrance, an NPC named Starfruit is standing in front of a painting. If you speak to her, she will tell you that she is waiting for a payment from one of the NPCs from Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion named slayQueen32. She will be located just behind a gold elevator door; you might have to try several before finding her. Interact with slayQueen32, and she will give you Exposure Bucks to bring back to the painter. Head back to Starfruit and interact with her to get a hat for your efforts.
A Rare Artifact
You can find Kiwi near the electronics box in one of the gold-lined elevator layouts. He'll be very close to the box, so you can't miss him. Talk to him, and he will ask you to find a co-worker of his the watermelon slice. This NPC can also be found in a gold-lined elevator, but the other layout. Kiwi will give you a priceless Garfield mug, and you need to bring it to the watermelon to complete the quest.

You'll get the Candy Ring you need to finish the Put a Ring on It side quest.
Blinded by Science
Deep in the Cryptic Crypts, you can find a lab right before the boss of this area. Talk to the carrot inside, and he will wonder if he should be trying to make his own Frankenstein creation or not. This will give you another pet rock for Rocks, Rocks, and more Rocks.

After completing the side quest Enter the Shroominati, there will be four quests inside the club's secret room. Speak to one of each of the mushroom worshippers with quest markers to get this one. You need to kill 200 peach cops to complete this one. And you get a new hat for your troubles.

The creator of Gregg's List is asking you to help him out by buying him a body pillow of his waifu. The pillow can be purchased on the Dark Web in the weapons warehouse for $69. Bring it back to Gregg for a very fashionable wearable.
Good Food
In one of the plain elevator door layouts, you can find Ravioli. Apparently, Pierogi stole his Good Food certificate, and he wants it back. Pierogi is located in the Dark Docks. You'll need Goop Boots from the Dark Web to get to him safely. Shake him down three times to get the Good Food certificate back, and then talk to Pierogi again so you don't feel so bad. Bring it back to Ravioli, and you will get yet another pet rock.

After completing the side quest Enter the Shroominati, there will be four quests inside the club's secret room. Speak to one of each of the mushroom worshippers with quest markers to get this one. You need to kill 100 SWAT Peppers to complete this one. The Shoominati will give you a new hat once the job is done and you return to him.
Medium's Reading
Just inside the Cryptic Crypt, there is a medium that tells you something about your family. She wants you to find your sister and bring her back. There is a ghost hanging out immediately after the bone bridge in one of the rooms in the Crypt; when you walk near her, she will follow you. Walk her all the way back to the Medium and interact with her to get a new hat: Turnip Girl's bow.
Put a Ring on It
In the bottom right portion of the Seed Stock, you can find the Florist, who is now in a relationship with Strawberry, both of whom you met in the first game. The Florist now wants you to find the biggest possible engagement ring to ask for her girlfriend's hand in marriage. Complete the side quest called Blind Date to get the ring for them.
After all that, speak to Strawberry; it turns out she also wants to give the Florist a ring too! There is a gold ring for her in the gold room in the Mysterious Motherload during the endgame. When you give Strawberry the ring, you will get a photo of Annie.
Rocks, Rocks, and more Rocks
In the elevator door with the mounds of dirt on it, you can find an NPC named Pie. They are looking for Pet Rocks, and they can be found in these places: Completing the Estate Extortion, Scandalous Sculpting, Blinded by Science, the first part of Put a Ring on It, Good Food Certificate, Hungry For Fruit, Sad Little Stonkle, and Sell Your Soul.
Sad Little Stonkle
Down in the Dark Docks, all the way to the right of the map below the exit that goes out to the Cryptic Crypts, you can find Stinky's son Stonkle. He asks you to put his drawing on his dad's desk, which can be found in the Mysterious Motherload.
Say Cheese!
Annie the avocado in the weapons warehouse will ask you to bring her photos from around the bank. There are a grand total of ten of these all over the place. The first one can be found in the Fancy Foyer near Peas where he has written Stinky Sux on the wall. The second is found in the upper right of the Candy Apple boss's room.
In the northernmost part of the Dark Docks, there is a photo opportunity along the back wall. There is another nearby this one, located very close to the one above. This one is north of the red writing on the floor; look for it just north of the scribbles that lead you to Gregg. If you find Stonkle, Stinky's son, you've gone too far to the right.
