Black Metal Missiles are a unique ammo type used for a specific weapon in Valheim, but crafting Black Metal Missiles can be a pain. In short, it's challenging to craft Black Metal Missiles as they require a resource found in one of the most dangerous biomes in Valheim.

How to craft Black Metal Missiles in Valheim

To craft Black Metal Missiles in Valheim, players need two types of resources, Black Metal and Wood. The total amount you need to make one set of Black Metal Missiles is 10 Wood and one Black Metal for 20 Missiles. Here's how to get both resources in Valhiem below:

  • How to get Black Metal - You can get Black Metal by farming Black Metal scraps that drop from Fuling enemies. After getting Black Metal Scrap, you can turn it into Black Metal by throwing it inside a Blast Furnace
  • How to get wood - Getting the wood you need is the easy part of making Black Metal Missiles in Valheim. In short, you must craft at least a stone axe and chop down the nearest tree to get wood.

When you have all the required resources to make Black Metal Missiles, you can craft the Missiles inside a Black Forge.  

How to use Black Metal Missiles in Valheim

Players can use Black Metal Missiles to load the new Ballista defense item added with the Mistlands update for Valhiem. To use Black Metal Missiles on Ballistas, walk up and press e or the use key. Doing so will load one Black Metal Missile that will fire at any enemies or creatures in front of the machine.
