To make padded armor, you will need the following resources, along with both a level two forge and an artisan table unlocked and built.

  • Iron 
  • Linen Threads

Once you got the resources listed above, you will be able to padded armor inside a level two forge with the following resources listed below.

How to make a Padded Cuirass in Valheim

Here is everything you will need to make a padded cuirass; once crafted, it will provide you with 26 armor and even more upon being upgraded. 

  • 10 Iron
  • 20 Linen Threads; to get linen, you are going to need to make a spinning wheel and get flax from fuling villages in the plains biome.

How to make Padded Greaves in Valheim

Here is everything you will need to make padded greaves; once crafted, it will provide you with 26 armor and even more upon being upgraded. 

  • 10 Iron
  • 20 Lien Threads

How to make Padded Helmet in Valheim

Here is everything you will need to make a padded helmet; once crafted, it will provide you with 26 armor and even more upon being upgraded. 

  • 10 Iron
  • 15 Lien Threads

Once crafted, a full set of padded armor will provide you a total armor level of 79. That said, you can also boost the armor level of your padded armor set by upgrading all three pieces inside a forge; here's everything you will need by armor piece and level.
