How will Team Deathmatch work in Valorant

Learn everything about Valorant TDM!

The biggest highlight of the upcoming Episode 7 Act 1 is the addition of Team Deathmatch in Valorant. Like most multiplayer games, TDM in Valorant involves dividing players into teams of 5 and duking it out on a small arena-like map. The team with the most points at the end of the allotted time will be declared the winner. Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 will hit the servers on June 27, 2023.

All Valorant Team Deathmatch Rules and Regulation

As mentioned earlier, most of the rules and regulations for Valorant TDM are similar to other multiplayer games. Still, there are some exceptions to the new rules. Read below to know all the rules about Valorant Team Deathmatch.

  • Time: The entire match will be split into four stages and will go for a total of 9m 30s.
  • Winning Condition: The team to secure the first 100 kills or the most number of kills within the given time frame will be declared the winner. If both teams have the same number of points, the match will end in a tie.
  • Weapon Loadout: Each player can choose a unique loadout according to their preference at the start of a stage or match inside the spawn room. Apart from that, the game contains several weapon spawn points around the map, which spawn powerful weapons with little ammo.
  • Orbs: The game will spawn two types of Orbs- Recovery and Ultimate Orbs. As the name suggests, the Recovery Orbs will increase your health points, and the Ultimate Orbs will help charge your Ultimate ability.
