How to watch movies and shows in VRChat

If you can't get to the cinema, you can always host a film night in VR!

VRChat is an interesting place to hang out. It is more immersive than a regular chat room and allows you to get more intimate with the other people within your VR world. This means that you can also watch videos with them. So, here is how to set up a screening with your friends.

Firstly, you will want to place yourself in a world that has a screen so that you can watch the film or show you aim to host. Once you are in such a world, you will need to change the screen's URL so that it can project the service you intend to watch from, i.e: YouTube.

Press ESC, and in the chat window paste in /web www.google.com. This will then lead you to Google's homepage so you can navigate to the website you are going to use to watch things. This means you could also sign into your Netflix, Amazon or Hulu account for example.

From there, you and your friends will be able to see the same screen and the audio should be transmitted as well so that you can have a movie night VR style!
