Warframe is a highly popular free sci-fi shooter available on most platforms, which allows it to reach a wider audience. Due to this increased availability, you may be wondering if Warframe has cross-platform trading and, if so, how you can use it.
Does Warframe have cross platform trading?
The answer is yes—Warframe does have cross-platform trading. Digital Extremes had been testing cross-platforming trading internally for quite some time and by December of 2023, it was officially released to the public along with cross-platform saving.

What may confuse players is that you do need to enable cross-play settings or at least have the same ones as the person you are trading with. The process requires you to enable Cross Platform Save Account (or PC Account) and have Cross Platform Play enabled in your in-game settings. Additionally, Tennoguard 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) is required to do any sort of trading with Warframe, so make sure you have that setup before attempting a cross-platform trade. You can complete this process on your Account Management page.
