Warframe Gyromag Systems, explained and how to get

The Gyromag grind never stops.

The Warframe community has a history of grinding for new armor, weapons, or materials like Warframe's Orokin Cells. Much like other MMOs, Warframe grinding can take a long time to complete and is based on what exactly players are trying to get. In the case of Gyromag Systems, the grind starts very tough but gets easier as players progress.

How to get Gyromag Systems in Warframe

What are Gyromag Systems

First, it is important to note what you're about to farm for and why it is important. Gyromag Systems are a crafting component used to create amps, enhancements, and the Plinx secondary weapon. Each recipe Gyromag Systems are a part of can be quite powerful, and thus it is usually worth players' time to farm them. However, be warned that farming Gyromag Systems can be quite tedious.

Reach "Old Mate" rank with Solaris United

Though this can take quite a while, Solaris United is where you want to start. The main problem with farming Gyromag Systems is that players can only acquire them from Little Duck at the Hand rank (which requires 15 Gyromag Systems) or from Heists offered by Solaris United. However, you can only undertake heists once a player reaches Old Mate rank with Solaris. Thus, reaching the Old Mate rank is the required first step for anyone looking to farm Gyromag Systems.

Conduct Heists given by Solaris United

Specifically called Profit Taker Orb Heists, the Heists Solaris United will ask you to conduct Phase 1-4. Gyromag Systems can drop in all Heists, but their drop rate changes in Phase 4. In Phase 1-3, the drop chance is 25%, while in Phase 4, the chance increases to 28.57%. While Phase 4 has the best drop chance, it takes longer to complete than other Phases and therefore does not typically make up for its length. For speedy farming, Phase 2 is players' best bet for getting Gyromag Systems.

Reaching "Hand" rank with Little Duck

Once you have acquired 15 Gyromag Systems, you can head to Little Duck and use them to reach "Hand" rank. This will allow you to purchase Gyromag Systems directly from Little Duck for 1,000 Vox Solaris Standing. This is the fastest way to acquire them, but as stated previously, getting all of these steps done can take time, so be prepared for a grind.
