How to Complete the Gone Bowling Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide

A 70-pin Strike? Hold my beer!

Warhammer 40k: Darktide gives the players a lot of Penances to accomplish, ranging from almost impossible to relatively simple. However, even those Penances that are easier to complete have a tricky component that requires a player to stop and think about how they should go about it. One such challenge is the Gone Bowling Penance.

How to get the Gone Bowling Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide

Getting the Gone Bowling Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide requires you to play an Ogryn Skullbreaker. The goal of the Penance is to knock down 70 enemies in a single Bull Rush on Malice difficulty Threat level or higher. As a reward, you will receive Brute's Biggest and Bestest Armour (XXXXL).

As always, we recommend to wait until you get a level 30 character to attempt this Penance, as it will make your life significantly easier. As easy as it might be to knock enemies around using a Bull Rush, you'll notice that you're probably getting only half of the required number of enemies knocked down. We have prepared a couple of ways you can improve that number.

In order to accomplish this Penance, you will need a Slab Shield for your Ogryn Skullbreaker. A Level 30 Unstoppable Feat will provide your Bull Rush double the range, and make you unable to be interrupted by anything except the Boss enemies. This Feat will be the most important component for completing this Penance.

Similar to the Heavyweight Champion Penance, you will also need to play on the Endless Horde mode to ensure a steady influx of enemies for the successful Bull Rush. Your best bet would be to find a place on the map where the Horde can be funneled in. Besides a gaming rig capable enough to render that many enemies without crashing, you will also need teammates to cooperate with you. To ensure that, it's a good idea to start as a premade team before attempting this Penance.
