Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a spiritual successor of the Warhammer 40k: Vermintide franchise, where the players are faced with advancing hordes of enemies. This iteration took me to the bowels of a Hive City Tertium, infested with heretics, mutants, demons, and other entities serving the Ruinous Powers. The Hive City needed cleaning, and I was the cleanup crew! Protected by the Emperor's ever-shining light, I scoured the depths of the city looking to purify and clean them from the demonic and the unjust, unlocking class weapons and upgrades along the way.
