How to increase Thread capacity in Wild Hearts

Threads are one of the most important resources you have in Wild Hearts. One could even say they are the literal heart of all of your major operations. At the start of the game, your Thread capacity is rather limited, but there is a way to unlock more as you progress. If you're interested in expanding your ability to manifest objects out of thin air, then keep reading, because we know just how to go about doing so in Wild Hearts.

How to increase the amount of Threads you can hold in Wild Hearts

Increasing your Thread capacity is actually rather easy, but a bit time-consuming. You see, every time you level up your pet Tsukumo, you'll make progress toward increasing your overall Thread capacity. In order to level up Tsukumo, you'll need to find stray Tsukumo stranded out on each of the explorable isles. When you're near one, you'll hear a drum-like sound to alert you of such. Look around carefully, because they know how to hide very well. Check cliffs, behind branches, everywhere you can. They are there, we promise. Finding them rewards with your Cogs, which you need to get more Thread capacity.

When you've found enough wild Tsukumo and befriended them, head back to or make a campfire. Sit down at the campfire and choose the Enhance Tsukumo option. Upon doing so, you'll get to choose which stats you want to level on your Tsukumo. The stat you choose is up to you. What's important is that every few levels, you'll be rewarded with an increase in your Thread capacity. This is a game-long activity, so don't expect to have a million Threads quickly.
