The final Challenge of Tyr is out in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, and with it comes another Spark of Ingenuity to collect. These rare materials are used to craft some of the most powerful gear in the game, like the Elemental Lariat, so it's a quest players should prioritize.
How to get the fifth Spark of Ingenuity
The quest for the final spark can be picked up from the Maiden of Inspiration, standing next to the Engine of Innovation in Valdrakken. This is marked on the map with a book icon on the city's east side.
From there, players will have to attune Irideus' Power Core. This will take players to Tyrhold, home of the now-released Revival Catalyst in Dragonflight. Once here, players must track down elite enemies in the area and use the power core on them. Elite enemies aren't plentiful in the area, so it can take a good chunk of time to complete this quest.
Going into the Group Finder tool to find a group for the quest could be a good idea if it's taking too long, but that shouldn't be necessary. Waiting for the Maiden of Patience to respawn on the southern end of Tyrhold is a good bet for players open to relaxing to get the quest done. Just rinse and repeat until the core is charged. Once that's done, players can head back to the Maiden of Inspiration and finish the quest.
What do Sparks of Ingenuity do in Dragonflight?
The sparks are the key to making some of the most powerful gear in the Dragonflight expansion. With five of them becoming available to players through quests, they are given access to powerful crafted gear that can be made through their profession or through a Crafting Order.
Using one on a piece of gear means it's lost for good, so players do have to make sure it's a piece of gear they plan on using for the long haul. It'd be a shame to see something get crafted with such a rare material only to be replaced by something else immediately.
