How does fast travel work in Yakuza: Like A Dragon?

In short, to fast travel in Yakuza: Like A Dragon, you must find a taxi driver, as these serve as the fast travel system in the game. It will cost 700 yen to fast travel using taxi cabs; this can get expensive fast if you plan on using this feature a lot. Because of this we suggest checking out our money guide, so you can gather a large sum to afford fast travel.

That said, You can find these cars all over the map in various locations that are usually one per distract. See the image below for an example of these said taxis. Along with this, you will need to speak to each cab driver in each district to unlock fast travel in that particular district.

As a side note, you don't have to use the taxi to unlock it. Merely speaking to the driver will unlock fast travel to whatever location you are at. Along with this, we recommend being careful trying to find some of these locations as they can be in challenging areas with formidable enemies.
