All new weapons in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

A warrior needs a good weapon.

Link is on a new adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and while his wits and courage will take him far, he will need a weapon. Link can use various weapons, and Breath of the Wild introduced a fair many. But this may leave you wondering what new weapons are in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - All New Weapons

While the Master Sword is Link's iconic weapon, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features many different weapons for Link to use. We see returning weapons, but there are also new ones present. Here are all the new weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

We will update this list as we learn more.

Bomb Thrower

We see Link wielding some sort of club-like weapon that can throw bombs. This may be a new weapon that allows Link to throw bombs further, or it may replace the bombs altogether.

Seeking Arrows

We see Link take aim at a flying creature and fire a new arrow to the right of it. Instead of missing, the arrow changes course and seeks out the enemy. This will be a handy tool for those with shaky aim.

Link's Arm

We know that something happens to Link's right arm, and it seems to replace the Sheikah Slate powers. We have seen Link shoot fire from this hand, control time on objects, and lift objects. There are likely other powers we haven't seen yet as well.

Hatchet

While axes are present in Breath of the Wild, we see Link wielding a one-handed hatchet. This may function like a combination of swords and axes or even be intended as a throwing axe.

Canisters?

Where the Sheikah Slate normally hangs, we see a set of canisters hanging from his waist. This could be a new replacement tool, or it may be a weapon. It is hard to say what the purpose of these is, but it is certainly interesting.

Fused Weapons

A new major mechanic in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the Fuse ability. This allows you to create new weapons by fusing weapons and objects together. You can create various combinations, including new weapons, elemental arrows, and more.
