Hideo Kojima's masterpiece Death Stranding was an epic game when it first released, and had a playtime of around 35 - 40 hours. Now with the PS5 in circulation, it has been revealed that we are getting a director's cut version of the game!
Death Stranding Director's Cut is coming to PS5
At Summer Games Fest Hideo Kojima himself made an appearance to reveal that his most recent game is getting a PS5 update along with some extra content. His story about community and the nature of society will have even more added to it in a director's cut version coming soon.
Unfortunately that is pretty much all he announced, and we will have to update you on the new extended run time, as well as extras and the release date - but for now it's exciting to know that a game that was already glorious on PS4 is coming to next-gen with an even fuller story.

The game originally released November 2019, and was ported to PC July 2020 for even more players to experience the story. You join Sam Bridges and his BB (Bridge Baby) as he traverses the in-game world and uses the Chiral Network.
The game also includes asynchronous online play so that players can help each other on their journies by leaving ladders and building roads to help people get across the map, which can be a daunting task at times.
The graphics in the original release were already beautiful, and reminiscent of parts of Scandinavia, as well as Scotland making for a luscious verdant scenery that you get to explore. Those graphics will pop even more with the PS5s more up-to-date architecture and it is surely going to be a sight to see along with the extra footage and gameplay!
Summer Games Fest has given us a lot to look forward to! But for now why not check out when Back 4 Blood is going to release?
