Everything in the NBA 2K22 1.6 Update

New face scans and bug fixes!

The latest patch for NBA 2K22 addresses some important bug fixes, adds new face scans, and improves the next-gen experience. The patch has already gone live, so players may be able to notice new face scans and fewer glitches in the game now.

One of the biggest bug fixes is that the 2K22 update addresses are for quests. Many of the quests in both the current-gen and next-gen are bugged, but it seems that will no longer be a problem. According to the NBA 2K22 Courtside Report, the 1.6 update fixes certain Kendrick Perkins videos not loading, which prevents moving forward in quests.

Other quests that have been fixed include The Game music quest and dev coach quests that would not track stats correctly. Also, quests will now track personal brand before reaching the NBA, which was an issue with personal brand resetting upon reaching the NBA. Other bug fixes include MyCareer draft stock tracking correctly, MyPlayers not appearing while riding vehicles, and invite issues in Pro-Am.

Likeness Update

Many of the rookies have received new face scans and numerous players have received a likeness update. The patch notes do not indicate what has been updated, but many likeness updates either change hairstyles, add tattoos, or number changes.
