When games first release, they often run into server issues and connection errors for many players. New World is no exception, and many players find that when they try to connect to the servers, the server list is stuck on Searching for Worlds. After a couple of minutes, it then switches to say Connection Error.
This is a standard problem for new releases, and thankfully, requires a standard and simple solution. Players have found the easiest way to resolve the issue is to simply log out then log back in. To do this, press the Power button on the top right of your game screen, then select Yes to confirm your choice to close the game.

When you re-open the game, assuming there is no issue with the servers themselves, the server list will populate with the list of available servers!
If the above option doesn't work, you may need to change the region that you're connected to. For example, if you are in the US and you have the Middle East region selected from the connection screen, try changing it to US East or US West. Otherwise, it will not load the server list properly if your connection isn't strong enough.
The worst-case scenario: neither of the above fixes work. This might indicate that the server is down for maintenance, and you must wait until they are back up to load the server list properly.
Once you've completed the above checks, you should be ready to play!
