It's a straightforward option for main DPS (or sub-DPS!) characters, especially those who can take advantage of the Elemental Bonus Damage boost from its passive. I have used this catalyst non-stop since launch because it's so easy to switch around characters—even new ones!

However, this also means that it's impossible to chart an Epitomized Path to target the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, so I don't recommend intentionally aiming to get this weapon from the gacha.

The Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds is such an easy catalyst to pass around to various characters as it's useful for both main DPS and sub-DPS units. However, if you give this weapon to a sub-DPS unit that's focused on triggering Reactions, keep in mind that you may have to roll harder for Elemental Mastery Artifact stats.
