Fortnite Rarest Skins List
Among the trove of treasures, a few of us, myself included, are on a constant hunt for the scarce and distinctive. So, how do we determine the rarity of an outfit? Well, it's all about how long it's been since the item last graced the Item Shop. Let's not make it too subjective, shall we? As we uncover the rarest Fortnite skins, we'll also touch upon the rarest emotes, gliders, and pickaxes in the Fortnite store.
This page is a day behind the item shop refresh. If you see anything on this list two days after appearing on the Item Shop, please leave a comment.
Developers may decide to bring back some of the rarest Fortnite outfits at any time, but some of these cosmetics are legends in my mind, even if they become available today! Here's a list of my 10 best rare Fortnite skins.
The Reaper (Chapter 1 Season 3) - It's enough to say it's John Wick! I don't see a better movie character to use in Fortnite besides Keanu Reeves.
Snake Eyes (Chapter 2 Season 5) - I'll mentionG.I. Joe multiple times here, but no action figure is as cool as Snake Eyes!
Demogorgon (Chapter 1 Season 9) - Stranger Things is one of my favorite shows, so of course, I wanted to play as a monster from the show.
Aerial Assault Trooper (Chapter 1 Season 1) -This outfit reminds me not only of Fortnite's OG days but also of G.I. Joe action figures from my childhood.
Black Widow (Chapter 1 Season 8) - As a fan of Marvel's Cinematic Universe (MCU), this was an easy choice.
Black Knight/Red Knight (Chapter 1 Season 2) - These male/female warrior armors just look fabulous, no matter what's the story behind them.
Omega (Chapter 1 Season 4) -Sometimes, the choice is easy; this skin looks great and is upgradeable.
Galaxy (Chapter 1 Season 5) - Its almost translucent Predator-like appearance made me feel like I was hard to hit.
Bravo Leader(Chapter 1 Season 10) - Another G.I.Joe-like action figure outfit I really like.
Agente Colorado (Chapter 2 Season 8) - When I want to run around looking so silly you don't even want to shoot me, I'll go with this hilarious outfit.
Rare skins are Fortnite cosmetics that seldom appear in the Item Shop. They're usually out of rotation, meaning you'll have to wait even a couple of years to have the next chance to acquire them. Don't mix rare skins with Rare outfit rarity, as these occasionally appearing outfits range from all rarities (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, etc.).
Why is Black Widow Outfit so popular in Fortnite?
The Black Widow outfit is one of the first Marvel skins to land in Fortnite. Part of the Avengers set, it first hit the game on April 25, 2019. It was last seen in the Item Shop on November 29, 2023. Since then, it has remained a much-talked-about memory among us, reminding us of our early days in the hunt for the rarest Fortnite skins.
