In Team Deathmatch, six players start on each team and the first team to win two rounds wins the game. You can win a round by getting a total of 30 kills. This game mode has automatic shield regeneration and infinite health items, so players can focus entirely on the gunfights.

You can select a Legend and a preferred loadout at the start of the match. Loadouts can be changed mid-game making it easier for players to get used to the pace of this game mode. Care Packages will be provided throughout the match, and you'll often get legendary rarity weapons from these. Here are the best Legends to select for this game mode.

Octane

Octane is unquestionably the best Legend to use in Team Deathmatch in Apex Legends. Octane's passive allows him to chase and rush opponents easily. Similarly, Octane's jump pad is one of the best ultimate abilities in the game, which every player in the match can use. You can use the jump pads on smaller maps to rush the opponents with your teammates.

Wraith

For several reasons, Wraith is the top Skirmisher class Legend to use in Team Deathmatch for Apex Legends. Wraith's portals allow this Legend to avoid damage, and the Dimensional Rift ability links two spots on the map for 45 seconds. As a Skirmisher, Wraith can quickly get in and out of fights, making her one of the deadliest Legends to use in Team Deathmatch.

Bangalore

Bangalore is the best Assault class Legend to play in Team Deathmatch. Her abilities revolve around cutting off the opponent's vision and rotating from a tight spot. Bangalore's Smoke ability is a brilliant tool to use in different situations that allows you to escape or get into a fight. Although Bangalore's Ultimate ability can be hit-and-miss, you can use it in difficult situations to rotate away from opponents quickly. Alternatively, Bangalore's Ultimate can be used to slow down an enemy rush by bombarding them with artillery.

Horizon

Horizon is another top Skirmisher class Legend to use in Team Deathmatch simply because of her abilities. Horizon's Tactical ability allows teammates to gain a height advantage over opponents in a few seconds. Likewise, her Ultimate ability creates a black hole that pulls opponents in its direction. You can use this Legend tactically to rush at the enemies and escape whenever necessary.

Catalyst

Catalyst's abilities make this Legend a perfect choice for a fast game mode like Team Deathmatch. Catalyst's Dark Veil and Piercing Spikes are some of the best defensive measures currently in the game, and you can use them to slow down opponents. Dark Veil's wall also cuts off enemy vision, making it easier for teammates to reposition.
