Best Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Stealth Ninja build

Time to go sneaky beaky-like!

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 features an excellent stealth system, allowing players to unleash a true cybernetic ninja on their enemies. I have always been a fan of stealth action games, and although this game's high-tech setting features deadly next-gen weapons, I was glad to see that Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 still made a place for tactical and sneaky play. After all, even the most advanced rifle is useless if a cyber ninja stabs you in the back, right? This guide will help you make the best Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0.

This stealthy ninja build guide for Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 will focus on exploiting a built-in stealth mechanic that allows you to take down enemies silently and dispose of their bodies. Once you enter a hostile area, you can silently take out as many enemies as possible without raising the alarm and entering combat mode, allowing you to clear out an entire zone without a single shot fired.

Best attributes for a Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 (Early game)

The best starting stats I like to use for Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 are as follows:

  • Intelligence: 3
  • Reflexes: 6

Best perks for a Stealth Ninja build (Level 10) - Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

The best way to level your Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is by prioritizing the Cool perks over all others since they will form the basis of your play style. You should get level 9 Cool right away because it advances your skill tree, allowing you to unlock more powerful perks. Here is how your perk progression should go up to level 10:

LevelPerk
1Feline Footwork
2Blind Spot
3Small Target
4Killer Instinct
5Quick Getaway
6Gag Order
7-
8-
9Scorpion Sting
10Ninjutsu X2

I've purposefully left perks at level seven and eight empty because the next perk node after Feline Footwork is Ninjutsu, and doesn't unlock until Cool level 15. Instead of wasting points on perks inconsequential to your build, it is smarter to wait and get the Ninjutsu up to level two, proceeding to build from there.

The key to building your Stealth Ninja to Level 50 in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 is to develop the Intelligence attribute first, followed by perks from its skill tree that favor stealth play and stealth damage bonuses. The next attribute in line should be Reflexes, as it will open up a patch toward blade-handling perks.

Best weapons for a Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

I have chosen to create a melee-only build, so the best weapons for a Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 are the following:

  • Katana: Katanas are iconic weapons that come in all colors in Cyberpunk 2077. Despite being a very common weapon, they are incredibly effective, especially with the Lead and Steel perk. There are even rare Katana versions, like the Thermal Katana, that are more effective in combat, so obtaining them will be well worth your time. To obtain a Katana, simply visit any of the Night City weapon vendors. I got mine by looting the bodies of a local gangster I took down, so they're commonly found as drops, too.
  • Knife: Knives are even more commonly found around the Night City than Katanas. Once you obtain the Dagger Dealer Perk in the Ninjutsu Skill tree at level 15, you can use them as throwable weapons, so be sure to stock up until you reach it. You can find knives as everyday loot items, or purchase them at weapon vendors.

Best Cyberware for a Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

Below is the list of the best Cyberware for Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0:

  • Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan: Sandevistan is one of the most powerful cyberwares in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe and a must-have in any specialized build. It works by slowing down time by 85% while allowing you to move normally, essentially giving you superspeed; it allows you to effortlessly take down multiple enemies, which is helpful if you can't separate them and take them out one by one. To obtain the Apogee Sandevistan, go to the Bellevue Overwalk point in the Watson district.
  • Mantis Blades: Mantis Blades have left a lasting impression on me ever since I saw the first trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, so of course, I just had to include them in this build. Aside from their cool factor, they are also incredibly effective in any melee build. Mantis Blades are cyberware and, therefore, only obtainable through Ripperdocs (which provide specialized body modification services, like installing cyberware, changing tattoos, changing hair color, and so on).
  • Optical Camo: The Optical Camo is a cyberware that allows you to turn invisible for 10 or 15 seconds at a time, depending on rarity. Using this cyberware is essential to any build where stealth is the key. To obtain this piece of tech, visit a Ripperdoc in West Wind Estate.

Best Relic perks for a Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0

The introduction of the Relic Perk system brings new abilities especially helpful for melee builds, and as such, are perfect for the Stealth Ninja build in Cyberpunk 2077 2.0. Here are some of the perks you should be looking out for:

  • Jailbreak: Unlocks new abilities for Arm cyberware.
    • Spatial Mapping: All Leap Attacks with Mantis Blades now cripple enemies and increase the dismemberment chance against those same enemies for 10 seconds.
  • Emergency Cloaking: Improves Optical Camo cyberware. Activating Optical Camo during combat by pressing the Middle Mouse Button or L1 will cause enemies to lose track of you, giving you a chance to exit combat.
    • Sensory Protocol: When crouched, being detected by an enemy will temporarily slow down. Dodge or Dash out of the enemy's line of sight to immediately exit combat. It has a 120-second cooldown.
