There are 26 airdrops spread across the world of Dying Light 2 for players to find. 14 of the 26 will be on rooftops, and the rest will be underwater and will need to be unlocked. All above water airdrops will also have inhibitors for players to collect. Either way, they'll require the player to be a bit tenacious in order to collect all of them and earn the achievement Find Anything Interesting?
This is the only airdrop found in the Houndfield district. It can be found on a rooftop in the far northeastern section of the territory. It'll be right along the edge of Houndfield and Trinity. In this cluster of buildings, it is atop the one with the old tattered parachute.
Players can find the next airdrop in the central-northern section of Horseshoe. It can be found on top of the building next to the 'Willow' windmill with the graffiti Stay Away written across it. Again, look out for an old parachute hanging off the building.
Players can find this airdrop on the central-eastern side of the Horseshoe territory, in the profile nose shape. To reach it, players will have to climb to the top of the nearly fully dilapidated highway up in the air. It'll be on the central section of this highway.
This airdrop requires players to have the paraglider to reach it. It's in the far northwestern corner of Downtown. Players can find this one on the rooftop of a two-level skyscraper roof with pine trees and moss growing off the top of it.
Players can find the next airdrop in the midwestern section of Downtown. It will be on a rooftop covered with solar panels, near the yellow crane.
The last airdrop found in the Downtown district is at the southern edge, very close to the Garrison. This airdrop will also require the player to have a paraglider to be able to reach it.
This final Downtown airdrop is in the far eastern section near the border to the Wharf. There will be a yellow crane on the ground out front of this building. Players can reach the airdrop by climbing through the elevator shaft inside.
In the Garrison territory, players can find this airdrop with the help of a paraglider. It's on the far western side, near the center. It will be on one of the smaller overgrown skyscrapers.
Players can find this airdrop in the central-eastern section of Saint Paul Island. It will be on the end tower of the red brick cathedral here. It'll be on the lower of the two sets of roofs on the northern side.
Just west of the central VNC Tower Downtown, players can find this next airdrop with their paraglider. Due to it being extremely close to the VNC Tower, it is extremely easy to overshoot the landing. Players will need to drop from the VNC tower in order to reach this airdrop.
Players can find this next airdrop on the far eastern side of New Dawn Park. It can be found atop the skyscraper with the hotel sign hanging off one side of it. This skyscraper is also covered in advertisements on nearly every side of it.
This one is found on the northern edge of the Lower Dam Ayre, where it touches the Muddy Grounds. Players will need to use the yellow air vent at the top of a nearby smaller building to lift them and their paraglider up to where the airdrop is. This can take a bit of finagling but is doable.
At the central northern edge of the Lower Dam Ayre, where it touches the bottom of Saint Paul Island, players can find this next airdrop. It can be found on top of the red-brick cathedral. This one requires the player to have a grappling hook.
South of the Garrison and west of Newfound Lost Islands, players can find this airdrop in the epilogue area. It is on top of the skyscraper out here. Players will need to progress past the full storyline to enter this area.
All of the 12 sunken airdrops are unnamed and found in the epilogue area below Newfound Lost Lands. They all are within close proximity to each other, just at different depths. These require good timing and lockpicking skills as some are very hard locks and deep down to where the player could run out of air before they finish picking the lock. Be very careful when attempting these 12 airdrops. If players are unsure where to look exactly, they will all be marked as question marks on the map.
These airdrops specifically offer a mixture of clothing, weapons, drugs, and/or bombs. These will all be rare to artifact-level items, these are blue to gold-colored items, making them well worth the dive if Aiden can hold his breath. Though players can get duplicates of the same items. Once all airdrops have been collected players will receive a notification for the Find Anything Interesting? trophy/achievement.
