How to climb down in Dying Light 2?

Crouching slides too? What other secrets does this game have?!

Climbing down from ledges and pipes isn't in the Key Bindings in the Options Menu of Dying Light 2, but there is a button for it. By pressing the Crouch Button, Aiden will let go of ledges or slide down pipes he is on. This can be dangerous, however, and should be met with caution as fall damage can kill you easily in Dying Light 2. Of course, there are two Skills in the game that can alleviate this problem.

Landing Safely

On the left side of the Parkour Tree, both Active Landing and Safe Landing will prevent Aiden from taking as much damage from falls. This works even when dropping down by choice with by crouching. Active Landing can be activated by pressing the Crouch Button just before landing to do a roll, reducing falling damage while maintaining momentum. Safe Landing increases the height Aiden can fall from before taking fall damage.
